ADI Showcases Innovations at IEEE MTT-S IMS 2025

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a prominent name in high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing technologies, is poised to make a substantial impact at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2025. With the theme "Bridging RF Signal Chains and Systems at the Intelligent Edge," ADI will showcase a diverse range of its state-of-the-art technologies at Booth #1243 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco from June 15 to 20.

ADI is leading the charge in system-level innovations that empower the Intelligent Edge across various industries, including communications, instrumentation, aerospace, and defense. Attendees at IMS 2025 will have the chance to see ADI’s most advanced digitization and signal processing platforms in action, featuring high-performance RF, clocking, data converters, and power management solutions.

Innovative Technical Workshops and Visionary Presentations

On Sunday, June 15, ADI will conduct two pivotal technical workshops. The first, "Physics Informed Machine Learning Based Digital Predistortion of RF Power Amplifiers," led by Tao Yu, Director of Machine Learning, will delve into how environmentally-conscious design can transform wireless infrastructure by reducing energy consumption without sacrificing performance. The second, "Bringing Commercial Cellular Access to Space," presented by Mohamed Abdalla, Director of Analog/RF Design Engineering, will explore the convergence of terrestrial and 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), highlighting ADI's advancements in LEO SAT phased arrays and beamformer chipsets.

Additionally, ADI will host an RF Bootcamp titled “Tx/Rx Communications System Digital-to-RF Design and Test,” led by Corporate Vice President Bryan Goldstein. This session will cover the design of a multi-channel Tx/Rx RFMW Communications System and how RFMW and digital domains are merging to enable advanced design and characterization techniques.

Sector-Specific Demonstrations

ADI will introduce powerful platforms designed for mission-critical applications, including:

  • Apollo MxFE® + Versal™: A high-speed Direct-RF transceiver and adaptive SoC combo delivering ultra-low latency for real-time EW operations at the edge.
  • 3UVPX Tuner + Digitizer + Processor: A 0.1–20GHz system with four-channel digitization at up to 5GSPS, integrated for wideband tactical applications with onboard DSP capabilities.
  • Multi-Band Phased Array Radar: The Apollo MxFE® AD9088 system supports agile radar across S and X bands with fast frequency hopping and on-chip digital error correction.

Demonstrations showcasing ADI's Instrumentation Excellence will extend into the precision instrumentation domain with transformative solutions, such as a 10GSPS Digitizer for ToF Mass Spectroscopy and RF Signal Processing with GPUs, introducing a shift from traditional FPGAs to NVIDIA-based platforms for AI-driven data extraction and inference at the edge.

Progress in Power Management and Communications

ADI will emphasize advanced power solutions, focusing on efficiency and low-noise operation in high-speed environments. This includes Silent Switcher 3 Technology for ultra-low noise and compact DC/DC regulation, and µModule DC/DC Regulators demonstrating integrated, shielded power modules with long-term reliability and reduced EMI.

In the realm of RF Front-End and Communications Innovations, ADI will present a comprehensive suite of RF demos, including Wideband RF Front-End Design, Flexible EW Front-End solutions, and PLL/VCO Synchronization Advances. Communications demos will feature RadioVerse® Transceivers and Energy Efficient Radio with Samana O-RU SoC, showcasing intelligent power-saving technologies.

From advanced RF platforms to AI-powered signal processing and precision power management, Analog Devices is shaping the future of the intelligent edge. Visit ADI at Booth #1243 of IMS 2025 to experience firsthand how its innovative solutions are enabling transformative applications across commercial, industrial, and defense domains.
