Suggested uses are grounding of tower, bulkhead grounding, use as a connection point for radial ground dissipation systems, or connecting multiple towers together with heavy cable for increased facility dissipation (highly recommended for multiple tower owners).
Supplied with synthetic copper-loaded anti-oxidant compound and stainless steel mounting hardware, weight 2 pounds.
Model 393 Series items are grounding blocks similar to our ground block series featured on page 16 but for applications where cable disconnections already exist or are desired. These blocks are perfect mechanical matches to our 360 and 380 Series blocks so they may be used with Model 390 Support Mounts or Tower Leg Fixtures shown on this page. Built for use with cables featuring UHF (SO-239) or N-type connectors compression-fit in the aluminum block medium, protruding from both-sides to female connectors onto which cables may be attached. Units provide tight, heavy shield bonding to earth ground connections, and are available in 1, or 2 bore fashions, as shown in the photograph.
Blocks are machined out and completely assembled with antioxidant compound at the factory, ready for field installation right out of the box / bag. Extra mounting compound provided.
Model 394 clamping assemblies are brass / bronze construction and are derivatives of popular "JI, JT" clamps used in the electrical service industry. Two piece fittings are connected together at point of mounting with solid brass hardware through6u~ including screws. Ideal for grounding tower legs, bus pipes, service tubing, etc. Model 394-JI fits round tube sizes 5/8" to 1-1/4", 394-J2 fits sizes 1-3/8" to 2" O.D. Models 394 and 394A are bronze ground rod clamps which can be used to clamp ground wire to rod. Rated for direct burial service, these units are known in the industry as "football" clamps.
Frame mounts are solid aluminum 6061-T6 material, brush-sanded and machined to perfectly fit across any two legs of most popular towers. Units are pre-drilled to accept blocks and include stainless steel hardware and quantity of conductive anti-oxidant compound. Simple to install, virtually permanent, frames and blocks rarely require any maintenance regardless of environment. All UPS shippable.
Now available in solid brass with stainless steel U-Bolts. Add letter "S" to part number. Example: 395-25GS is mounting frame for Rohn 25G in solid brass.
Ideal for laboratory use where reliability and flexibility are essential, or in Land Mobile, Marine, Amateur, Broadcast and Industrial applications.
Models 890, 891, 892 are two 2:1 transformers which may be used to convert 25 to 50 ohms or 50 to 100 ohms. Units will up-convert or down-convert depending on which way they are inserted into the coax line. Very adaptable to a wide variety of antenna layouts, especially since they are broadband and not frequency restrictive. Excellent for stacking antennas or phasing verticals in the HF frequency range.
Model 895, 896, and 897 are for converting 50 ohm equipment output to 75 ohms unbalanced to drive popular CATV-type transmission line. Conversions work both ways, so one unit used at each end of line offers broadband coverage with excellent match and low insertion loss.
Each is packed with hardware, storage box, and 4-page owner's manual.
